Daily Wear

Our pieces are designed for everyday wear, but a little mindfulness goes a long way. Remove your jewellery before applying perfume, moisturiser, or sunscreen, and let products fully absorb before putting pieces back on. Sweat can accelerate tarnishing, so a quick wipe-down with your polishing cloth after wear in warm conditions is ideal.

For earrings, gently squeeze the hooks together once in place to keep them secure throughout the day.

Our adjustable rings and cuffs are made to be resized, but should be adjusted slowly and gently — never forced. Even high-quality materials can snap under excessive pressure, and pieces broken through mishandling are not covered under warranty.

Shower & Swimming

We recommend removing all jewellery before showering, swimming, or bathing. Prolonged contact with water — especially chlorinated pools, hot tubs, and salt water — will break down plating and dull the finish over time. Avoid wearing pieces into the ocean or pool, even if they feel fine in the short term.

Humidity from bathrooms and sunrooms can also cause tarnishing, so don't leave jewellery resting near a sink or in a steamy environment.

Storage

Store each piece individually in the pouch or box it arrived in to prevent scratching and tangling. Keep jewellery away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and humid rooms. Displaying pieces in cabinets under strong lighting will accelerate tarnishing — if you do display them, polish regularly with your cloth.

Keeping pieces in an airtight bag or zip-lock pouch when not in use is a simple way to slow oxidation, especially in humid climates.

Cleaning

For routine maintenance, buff your jewellery with the polishing cloth included with your order. This is the safest and most effective way to restore shine without risking damage to the finish.

• Use the cloth in gentle, back-and-forth strokes — not circular motions.
• For necklaces and chains, lay the piece flat and polish section by section.
• Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive cloths, toothpaste, or household cleaning products — these will strip plating.
• Do not submerge pieces in water or jewellery cleaning solutions unless the product is specifically listed as safe for plated jewellery.

Tarnish Prevention

All Queen & Collection pieces are made from high-quality materials with tarnish-resistant finishes, but no plated jewellery is tarnish-proof forever. The rate of tarnish depends on your skin chemistry, lifestyle, and how pieces are stored.

To slow tarnishing:

• Polish after every wear, especially in hot or humid conditions.
• Store in a cool, dry, dark place — away from moisture and direct light.
• Avoid contact with chemicals: perfume, chlorine, cleaning products, and hairspray.
• Put jewellery on last when getting ready, and take it off first.

Avoid sunlight

Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause certain materials and stones to fade over time.

Water-Resistant/Waterproof:

Safe for contact with water. You can keep this item on while swimming, showering, or washing your hands without risk of moisture damage.

Protect from humidity

Perfumes, lotions, hair products, and cleaning agents can cause discoloration or erosion of finishes.

Feel free to accessorize your workout! Just remember two things: Secure everything tightly so it won't interfere with your movements, and if you're training outdoors, be mindful of prolonged, direct sunlight on any stones or metals.
